All-round protection

Wherever machine parts such as guide rods, columns or traverses need all-round protection, box bellows from innoFlex are the reliable solution. They are also the ideal cover for clamping and underrun protection under lifting tables due to their robustness and flexibility.

The design

The design principle of box bellows is similar to that of slideway protectors, but they enclose the machine parts on all four sides.

Suitable materials are available for a wide range of applications. Box bellows are also stabilised (welded or stitched) by internal, CNC-manufactured support frames and are suitable for both vertical and horizontal coverings.

innoFlex manufactures box bellows in standard in sizes from 40 x 40 mm to 6.000 x 1.500 mm (external measurements). Depending on the size, the Lmax can be up to 9.000 mm. Special sizes can also be made available.

During movement, positive or negative pressure is generated within closed box bellows, which means they need to be ventilated. According to customer requirements, innoFlex can integrate a sufficient number of ventilation units in their box bellows.

innoFlex supplies its box bellows ready for installation with metal flange or Velcro fastenings. On request, customer-specific hole patterns can be incorporated.
